Adding a Facebook account: every field explained
Go to Profiles → Add New Profile. The form has 2 parts: basic info (4 required fields) and Advanced options (collapsed, safe to skip).
| Field | What to enter & where to find it |
|---|---|
| Name * | A nickname to tell your accounts apart. E.g. Sales account 1. |
| FB id * | The account's numeric ID (e.g. 100012345678901). Open the account's profile page to get it, or use a UID lookup tool. (An account picker is coming so you won't have to type this.) |
| Username * | The email or phone number used to log in to Facebook for this account. |
| Password * | The account's Facebook login password, stored so the system can sign in automatically. Enter the real password; no format restrictions. |
| Notes | Optional, can be left empty. (Advanced) |
| Config | A short config code (letters, digits, _ , -). Not sure? Leave it empty. (Advanced) |
| Default | Make this the default account for runs. (Advanced) |
| Scenario | Pre-assign a scenario. You can also pick one later on the Dashboard. (Advanced) |

Enable AI-written content (API key)
When an action uses AI replies, the system has AI write the comments/messages for you. AI is an external service and is not bundled with GCare, so you need to add your own API key.
The steps
- 1Go to Settings → API Keys.
- 2Pick a provider: OpenAI / Gemini / Claude (or add your own).
- 3Click "Where do I get a key?" to open the provider's key page and create an API key.
- 4Paste the key → Save → Set as active.
- 5Back in your action, choose the AI reply type and write a prompt.
Not ready for AI?
Totally fine. In each action, choose Text replies and pre-write 3–5 lines. The system rotates through them — no API key needed, runs immediately.

Important
Safety: avoiding account locks
Facebook detects unusual behavior very quickly. Slow and natural always beats fast and loud.
Do
- Delays of 30–90 seconds between actions.
- Low daily limits, raised gradually (warm the account up).
- New accounts: use the Warm up account template.
- Varied replies, never repeated.
Avoid
- Running hundreds of actions/day on a fresh account.
- Mass friend requests — the fastest way to get restricted.
- Very short delays (a few seconds).
- Spamming the same line at everyone.
Support
FAQ & troubleshooting
Stuck? Check these common cases before you contact support.
Clicked run and nothing happens?
Check: (1) did you tick an account; (2) does that account have a scenario assigned; (3) does the scenario have at least 1 enabled action; (4) is the connection status "green".
Seeing "Set up AI first"?
You picked AI replies but have no API key yet. Add one under Settings → API Keys, or switch the reply type to Text.
Hit your plan limit?
Quotas (comments/messages/AI) are per-day and reset at midnight. Wait for tomorrow or upgrade your plan.
Changed something and nothing happened?
